Grzegorz Nowak

Grzegorz Nowak (born Poznań, Poland on August 15, 1951) is a conductor.
After studying conducting, composition and violin at the Music Academy in Poznań, Nowak won a scholarship to the Eastman School of Music. In 1984, Nowak won the Ernest Ansermet Conducting Competition in Geneva. He was Music Director of the Edmonton Symphony Orchestra from 1994 to 2002.
