Grytten

Grytten is a former municipality in Møre og Romsdal county, Norway. The municipality centre was Åndalsnes.

It was created as Grytten formannskapsdistrikt in 1837. On January 1, 1902 the district of Hen was separated as a discrete municipality. The split left Grytten with had a population of 1.728.

On 1 January 1964 Grytten was merged with Eid, Hen, Voll and part of Veøy to form the new municipality Rauma. Before the merger Grytten had a population of 3.683.
