Gryposaurus (meaning "griffin-Lizard")was a genus of hadrosaurid dinosaur known from the Late Cretaceous (Late Santonian to Early Campanian stages), Gryposaurs are known from the Oldman Formation in Alberta, Canada, and the Lower Two Medicine Formation in Montana, as well as possible Gryposaurs found in South America. It is similar to Kritosaurus, and for many years was regarded as the same genus.
