Gryazi

Gryazi (Russian: Гря́зи) is a town in Lipetsk Oblast, Russia, located on the Matyra River (left tributary of the Voronezh; Don's basin) 30 km southeast of Lipetsk. Population: 47,478 (2002 Census); 47,458 (1989 Census).
It was founded in the second half of the 19th century as a settlement around the Gryazi railway station, which was opened in 1868. Town status since 1938.
