Grompone

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Grompone is an ancestral line from the Cilento region of Southern Italy. The main familial line originates from Gioi, Cilento, where church records trace marriage, birth, and deaths within the line dating back to a church fire in the 15th century. "Genetic Park" research has recently uncovered several dominant and prevalent genetic traits that appear in nearly all Grompones: double-jointed thumbs, heightened immune systems, poor sense of smell, propensity towards mathematics, and low chances of cardio-vascular diseases.
