Grolls are fictional creatures in many Dungeons & Dragons games and commonly in MUDs, particularly a player race in the DIKU II game. They can also be found in many trading card games and books. Also a common name for an orc.

A mixture between a troll and an ogre (also the origin of the name), they come from experiments done by drow mages and priests. Grolls are wild and uncontrollable. They show hatred towards any living being and will usually attack on sight. Although not immensely intelligent they are very cunning and wily. Their magic is basically non-existent, but some have been taught tricks by their drow masters. Grolls are notorious for fleeing and lulling their enemies into a false sense of victory while they regenerate quickly for their next assault. They are mainly used as recyclable cannon fodder; they make good fighters, though not much else.
