Importance? well the problem is always that 'importance' is always subjective, and the Wikipedia is not supposed to be about opinions but neutral facts.

Why is this page 'important' - well I've no idea if Grindley Brook has historic significance, but it might. It certainly is significant for instance in showing young children how canals work with its series of locks. And being at the north end of a key spur of the Shropshire Way that links to the Maelor Way might make it 'important' to walkers.
