Talk:Grimace
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
This is not an authentic "fictional character" in any usual sense of fiction. On the contrary, this is merely an advertising meme. The entry is essentially a backhanded plug for McDonald's, contrary to stated Wikipedia policy. --Wetman 08:55, 4 Nov 2004 (UTC)
No way. I was quite pleased to find info about Grimace available on Wikipedia. Clearly, if Ronald is a valid topic, then so is Grimace. And I didn't notice any pro-McDonalds POV in the writeup, so I'm not quite sure what you mean. Ultra Megatron 01:05, May 17, 2005 (UTC)
Yeah seriously. Wikipedia is known for having everything. Why delete something just because it could be misconstrued as an advertisement? Kestrel 18:35, 28 June 2006 (UTC)
[edit] The Caperism?
The article said he was also called the Caperism. When/where? Youngamerican 19:16, 10 January 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Removal of Vandalism (?)
I removed the picture containing a photo of Israeli Prime Minister Ariel Sharon, and paragraph that described the alleged similarity to that of Sharon and the McDonald's purple monster, the Grimace. Moronic, and degrades Wikipedia.

[edit] No disambiguation?
What about the facial expression? :| -- Jokes Free4Me 14:03, 4 August 2006 (UTC)
- I've added a link to the wiktionary article (wikt:grimace), which pretty much covers that usage. If there's more to be said, feel free to create an article! I, for one, could not think of much to write... Cheers! --Keitei (talk) 00:47, 20 September 2006 (UTC)
