[edit] What if...?

I remember that according to West German TV coverage of the events in 1985, the candidate named Romanov was considered a "hawk", and a picture of him was shown on which he looked rather unfriendly. On the other hand, the other guy with the funny spot on his head was called a "reformer", and was shown with a nice picture. One wonders what would have happened if Romanov would have won ...
