Gritty McDuff's Brewing Company is a microbrewery with locations in Portland, Freeport and Auburn, Maine.

Gritty's began as a brewpub in Portland, originally founded in 1988. In 1995, a second location with a larger microbrewery facility was opened in Freeport. A third brewpub was opened in Auburn in 2005.

Gritty's has created much discussion with it's "over the line" approach to radio advertising. These outrageously humorous and edgy spots, concieved and produced by the Maine creative agency Big Moose media, spoof subject matter from politics and religion to terrorism.
