Gritos del Ennom is a demo of the Colombian thrash metal band Athanator recorded in 1990. This demo was recorded with the purpose to make the band known. It had a large distribution, mostly due to exchanges with other bands, some of them from outside Colombia, even though it was recorded with just a small tape recorder during a rehearsal.
The first edition only had four tracks, it was reedited later with the same songs, recorded live during the first performance of the band, and also including a song from a Spanish punk group.
The name of the demo is a reference to the tophet in Ennom valley (also know as Ben-Hinnom or Gehenna), where according to the Bible the Canaanites sacrificed children to the god Moloch by burning them alive.
