Grimbergen Abbey

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

The abbey church of St.-Servaas in Grimbergen, elevated to the status of basilica in 1999, is considered one of the most beautiful and best-integrated baroque churches in the Low Countries. Originally constructed as part of the Nortbertine abbey, the building also serves as the parish church of Grimbergen.

A complete description of the church, from which this introduction is taken, is available in the Dutch wikipedia.
