Grimacco (slovene Grmak) is a comune (municipality) in the Province of Udine in the Italian region Friuli-Venezia Giulia, located about 60 km northwest of Trieste and about 25 km northeast of Udine, on the border with Slovenia. As of 31 December 2004, it had a population of 450 and an area of 16.4 km2.[1] According to the census 1971 77,2% of the population are Slovenians.
