Grim Vs. Mom / Tastes like Chicken is the 7th episode of The Grim Adventures of Billy and Mandy. It first aired on July 19, 2002 on Cartoon Network.

Billy's mom, Gladys, returns home following her psychotic break which was the result of seeing Grim in her house. When she returns, Harold introduces her to Billy's new friend, but she doesn't want the Grim Reaper near "her baby". At dinner, she attacks him with a spoon when he puts his bony elbow on the table. She becomes very hostile and begins to scare Grim. Billy and Mandy mock Grim for being scared of Gladys, but he denies that and goes downstairs, where he finds Gladys waiting for him.

After a big epic battle, Gladys eventually throws spice jars at Grim, and punches him. His bones fall apart, and Mandy and Billy walk into the kitchen. Gladys runs away, saying that their friend Grimmy had an accident, and suggests they throw poor Grimmy into a garbage can. In the end, Grim is left in spare parts, while Billy is trying to rebuild him in the bedroom.

Billy's family and friends are suddenly disappearing. He thinks that Grim reaped them, but Grim denies that. While they're talking, they spot Mandy going home with a box of an unknown content, burping loudly. Billy suspects Mandy has become a cannibal and that the box contains a human head.

Billy and Grim go to Mandy's house and spy through her window. They think they confirmed their theory, and when Mandy notices them, they run away as fast as they can. After a few seconds of running, Billy finds himself in Mandy's backyard, caught up between Amazon-like people with giant voo-doo masks who were apparently having a barbeque. They start chasing him, until Mandy appears with her mysterious box. Billy hits right in the box and realizes that the box actually contains a birthday cake. The strange people put down their masks and it is revealed that the people Billy thought were missing were actually organizing him a surprise birthday party. However, when Billy notices Irwin is still gone, Mandy implies that they did eat him.
