Grim's Ditch (Chilterns)

Grim's Ditch is an earthwork in the Chilterns. Its complete route can no longer be followed but sections exist over a 30 km span between Bradenham, Buckinghamshire and Berkhamstead, Hertfordshire. The purpose of the earthwork is uncertain. It is thought by the Ordnance Survey (1966) that it may be a set of local boundaries and that it was made in the Iron Age as no Anglo-Saxon event is connected with it.
