Grigoris Arnaoutoglou (Greek: Γρηγόρης Αρναούτογλου), also spelled as Gregory or Gregoris Arnaoutoglou, is a controversial greek television host. Since 2003, he is the host of Mega Channel's morning daily entertaining show, Omorfos Kosmos to proi (Beautiful world in the morning). Arnaoutoglou is also the host of the Sunday show Pio Poli Tin Kiriaki (Too Much on Sunday) on Mega Channel.
A native of Halkidiki, Arnaoutoglou was born in the beginning of the 1970s; raised and started his television career in Thessaloniki, where he was for almost a decade the basic host in many local television projects and shows. He became famous through his weekly television programme in ERT3, in the end of the 1990s. On this show, Arnaoutoglou was filming his travelling in the Greek mainland and islands as well as abroad; visiting hundreds of villages, towns and talking to thousands of people on street.
Arnaoutoglou has been criticized and derided by satirists such as Lakis Lazopoulos for being too loudy and showy during his presentations, which lack any substancial or useful background.[1]
