Griffith Central

Griffith Central is a shopping centre under construction in Griffith, New South Wales. The centre is located in Griffith's CBD on Yambil Street. When the centre is open in 2007, it will house a full-line Target, a Ritchies SUPA IGA supermaket, 24 specialty stores and a 200 seat food court. The centre is being constructed at the former resorvoir site on the corner of Yambil and Jondaryan Avenues between the CBD of Griffith and Griffin Plaza. The original plans for the centre included a cinema and 60 specialty stores. The current plans were adapted after a study proved the size would not be feasible.
