Welcome to Wikipedia! Hope you enjoy it here.
I'm not sure if you remember, but you did an interview on my and my wife's radio show on KUCI in Irvine, CA a bunch of years ago now. Was good to have you, and good to see you here as well. Feel free to ask any questions about this crazy place. Matthew Brown (Morven) (T:C) 06:31, 2 March 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Dino Images
Hello! Thank you for uploading dinosaur images to wikipedia! But, if there is no reason to do otherwise, please upload them directly to wikipedia commons so they can be used on other wikipedias either. --Dudo2 14:50, 17 March 2006 (UTC)
[edit] WElcome to Wikipedia:WikiProject Dinosaurs!!!
Hi, I'm the self proclaimed head of the wikiproject Wikipedia:WikiProject Dinosaurs! I'd like to thank you for joining the project & hope you have a great time during your stay. To tell the truth, there was a need for a girl in the project! Anyway, see the task section on the project page for a list of open tasks & feel free to post on the talk page or slap one of our templates on your user page. If you have any questions, ask me or anyone else (but mainly me.... muahaahaha!). Hope you have a great time on the project. Spawn Man 07:21, 19 March 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Image licensing
Hi, I'm pretty sure AMNH doesn't want to put images like Image:Sauropelta1.jpg under GFDL, which is carefully written to allow profitmaking ventures. (For instance, people want to make printed versions of WP and sell them.) You'll need to ask them for a specific license, so that the legal bases are all covered. Stan 22:57, 22 March 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Wikipedia:WikiProject:Amphibians and Reptiles
Just wondering would you be interested in collaborating on this project. It includes fossil and living forms except Dinosaurs. Thankyou Enlil Ninlil 01:11, 11 April 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Image Tagging for Image:Mapusaurus1.jpg

[edit] WikiProject Dinosaurs
Hi GreyGirlBeast!
There's currently less than 100 dinosaurs left on the Missing dinosaur page. We've come a long way! I was thinking that since there's just under 100 dinosaurs left, and since there are 25 of us signed on for the project, if we each wrote about four articles, we'd be done! Well, not "done", obviously, as many of the articles are in need of expansion. But then we could focus on expansion and other things.
You could take, say, Omnivoropteryx, Ornithomimoides, Orthogoniosaurus, and Orthomerus.
It's just an idea, of course, and you're of course not obligated and can do whatever you like; I just figured I'd mention the idea, and see if you were interested. No harm, right?
Take care, --Firsfron 06:41, 23 April 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Welcome back from WikiBreak!
Your recent work on Erectopus is most welcome, and was much needed. Your valued contributions lend a lot of creedence to our project, and to Wikipedia itself. Thanks, Greygirlbeast. For your dedicated work on WP, I'm giving you this:
- You're welcome, and thank you very much! Yeah, I was a little too busy for a time there, but hopefully I'll be able to contribute quite a bit over the course of the summer.--Nar'eth 21:54, 28 May 2006 (UTC)
[edit] License tagging for Image:Europasaurus1.jpg
Thanks for uploading Image:Europasaurus1.jpg. Wikipedia gets hundreds of images uploaded every day, and in order to verify that the images can be legally used on Wikipedia, the source and copyright status must be indicated. Images need to have an image tag applied to the image description page indicating the copyright status of the image. This uniform and easy-to-understand method of indicating the license status allows potential re-users of the images to know what they are allowed to do with the images.
For more information on using images, see the following pages:
This is an automated notice by OrphanBot. If you need help on selecting a tag to use, or in adding the tag to the image description, feel free to post a message at Wikipedia:Media copyright questions. 05:05, 8 June 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Dinosaur images
Hey Greygirlbeast! I'm not sure you're even aware, but there's a dinosaur image review page here. I guess a lot of the WP:Dinosaurs participants don't even know about it, and I figured I'd let you know: people are practically begging for feedback and suggestions there, and not getting a whole lot. Your advice and ideas, I feel, would be greatly appreciated, and a big help. The advice of a professional vertebrate paleontologist? Priceless. We've got a thousand dinosaur pages with no illustrations, and several photographers and a professional illustrator, all with no real feedback. Helllllp!--Firsfron of Ronchester 08:37, 28 June 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Aigialosaurs
Hi - I have taken the plunge and filled a red link, that has been hanging around on Mosasaur since April (Aigialosaur). However, I was fairly well out of my depth and wondered if you could sort it for me. In particular, I note that WP has very few entries that mention aigialosaurs. It appears to be absent from all the classification trees or lists that I have located, under various different reptiles. I assumed you would have some expertise in this area. Thanks - Ballista 05:08, 24 July 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Orphaned fair use image (Image:Svp-banner.gif)
Thanks for uploading Image:Svp-banner.gif. I notice the 'image' page currently specifies that the image is unlicensed for use on Wikipedia and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, the image is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the image was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that images for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable under fair use (see our fair use policy).
If you have uploaded other unlicensed media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that any fair use images not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. Gay Cdn (talk) (Contr.) 18:59, 16 November 2006 (UTC)
