[edit] Image copyright problem with Image:Moffatsandown74.jpg
Thanks for uploading Image:Moffatsandown74.jpg. However, the image may soon be deleted unless we can determine the copyright holder and copyright status. The Wikimedia Foundation is very careful about the images included in Wikipedia because of copyright law (see Wikipedia's Copyright policy).
The copyright holder is usually the creator, the creator's employer, or the last person who was transferred ownership rights. Copyright information on images on Wikipedia is signified using copyright templates. The three basic license types on Wikipedia are open content, public domain, and fair use. Find the appropriate template in Wikipedia:Image copyright tags and place it on the image page like this: {{TemplateName}}
.
Please signify the copyright information on any other images you have uploaded or will upload. Remember that images without this important information can be deleted by an administrator. You can get help on image copyright tagging from Wikipedia talk:Image copyright tags. -- Carnildo 16:45, 1 February 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Paul Wade
Nice job on the Paul Wade article. --Zpb52 06:19, 16 May 2006 (UTC)
- Agreed, not a bad article, and good to see another prominent Socceroo and South Melbourne player get a page.
[edit] Non-Administrators
Hello, I don't mean to intrude, and if you don't wish to respond to my comment, that is entirely your right. However, please be aware that Wikipedia administrators and non-administrators alike are your allies in editing the encyclopedia, and it is always a good idea to treat other users in a respectful and open-minded manner, not dismissing them based on their status, even if you disagree with them or find their manner abrasive. Just a tip for future reference; if you're interested in further reading, see WP:AGF, WP:CIVIL, WP:EQ, and other important pages. Seeya 'round. -Silence 05:51, 19 May 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Wikipedia:WikiProject Ice Hockey
Hi there. I noticed that you've done some work on the Australian ice hockey articles. I just wanted to stop by and let you know I've added the
{{ice hockey}} --(curly brackets with 'ice hockey' inside)
tag onto the talk pages of the articles I found. We're working to include ice hockey around the world !! Please drop by and see us, we'd love your help!! THANKS.

[edit] Junior B Teams
Hello, a user has decided that he does not want us placing hockey stubs on Wikipedia to expand later into teams. In particular he doesn't like Junior teams... I was wondering if you could please voice your opinion. Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Thunder Bay Northern Hawks DMighton 02:49, 19 June 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Rugby League Logos
Hi, just a quick question. Where abouts did you find those old logos for rugby league clubs, such as and ? If you have the website that could be really useful for others to use in the future. Cheers, --mdmanser 03:26, 15 July 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Errrrr?
Errrr.....What Comment was that Falcon? Æon Insane Ward 20:03, 12 August 2006 (UTC)
That was months ago when he nomed about 30 or 40 userboxes for deletion. Have not had any further interaction with him since. Æon Insane Ward 21:58, 12 August 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Whiskey Au Go Go fire
Hi Greg, I've undone the redirect you created here and changed Whiskey Au Go Go into a redirect to Whiskey Au Go Go fire. As I read it the article is about the fire not primarily about the nightclub so the original name is correct. Also, if you want to rename an article.... please use the move tab as this preserves the edit history and automatically creates the redirect.. [edit] Ben Lexcen
I very much enjoyed reading the updated Ben Lexcen article. Very well done. Boatman 07:52, 20 October 2006 (UTC)
[edit] drivers and cars
Hi Greg. I noticed you had created a few articles for red links I once added. I've listed 4 of your articles at Wikipedia:New articles (Australia) to help to alert fellow Australians to the new articles in case they have more info to add. If you create any more Australia-related articles, you might like to list them there, too. Thanks for the contributions. --Scott Davis Talk 08:16, 28 October 2006 (UTC)
[edit] 1991 Australian GP
Hi - thanks for your additions to F1 articles. Are you sure about Karl Wendlinger being classified 20th at the 1991 Aussie GP? www.formula1.com has him as retired, although I am aware that that sites contains a number of errors. Cheers. --4u1e 07:21, 30 October 2006 (UTC)
- I'm fairly certain he didn't officially retire although I'm basing that information on the other articles I found at Wikipedia related to the subject. I might very well be wrong. Greg the White Falcon 04:55, 1 November 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Image:Falcon-BA-XR.jpg
Thanks for uploading Image:Falcon-BA-XR.jpg. I notice the 'image' page specifies that the image is being used under fair use, but its use in Wikipedia articles fails our first fair use criterion in that it illustrates a subject for which a freely licensed image could reasonably be found or created. If you believe this image is not replaceable, please:
- Go to the image description page and edit it to add {{Replaceable fair use disputed}}
- On the image discussion page, write the reason why this image is not replaceable at all.
Alternatively, you can also choose to replace the fair use image by finding a freely licensed image of its subject or by taking a picture of it yourself.
If you have uploaded other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified how these images fully satisfy our fair use criteria. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on this link. Note that any fair use images which are replaceable by free-licensed alternatives will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. --– Quadell (talk) (random) 21:07, 7 November 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Footy Club
Hi, I am trying to introduce a club for rugby league supporters that will be more than just a wikiproject and help to encourage rugby league participation and article improvement. I have written down some of my thoughts about what wikileaguies should attempt to do and would be interested if you, like other rugby league supporters, would be willing to be involved on some level. [1], leave signage and thoughts on the talk page if you are interested. Cheers. --Rugby 666 08:28, 8 December 2006 (UTC)
