The Best of The Byrds: Greatest Hits, Volume II is the second compilation album released by American band The Byrds. With the band's contract with Columbia Records expired, the label issued a successor to the highly popular The Byrds' Greatest Hits from 1967.

Released in late 1972, just before the reunion of the original Byrds took place, The Best of The Byrds: Greatest Hits, Volume II could only manage to reach #114 in the United States.The cover photograph was later used for a UK double compilation, History of the Byrds.

In 1971, CBS Records in England released an alternate version of "Greatest Hits, Vol. 2." The song selection was slightly different. Included on the album were the following tracks:
