[edit] Need for the redirect?
Why does this redirect to Conservative Democratic Alliance? Is this redirect necessary at all? --SandyDancer 01:10, 28 December 2006 (UTC)
- Gregory Lauder Frost appears every now and again in the news (see the CDA article for a couple in the past week or so) so it's reasonable to expect a search for his name. JASpencer 09:05, 28 December 2006 (UTC)
- I've also added the four Afd votes to give a clearer idea of the nature of the arguments. JASpencer 09:21, 28 December 2006 (UTC)

- The only recent time has has appeared in the news is in connection with the British National Party. From what I understand, most of the press articles written about him relate to legal issues from the early 90s. His most notable political involvement during his life appears to be in connection with the Monday Club. I would contest the notion that CDA is the correct redirect, if indeed a redirect is needed (which I don't think it is). --SandyDancer 13:56, 28 December 2006 (UTC)

- The reason we have this redirect is because Mr Lauder Frost took offence to certain aspects of his Wikipedia article and threatened to sue both myself and the Wikipedia organisation unless it was deleted (which it eventually was).--Edchilvers 17:53, 28 December 2006 (UTC)

- Well personally I don't think the redirect is necessary (because I don't think anyone would come on Wikipedia and search "Gregory Lauder-Frost") or helpful (because, in the unlikely event someone was searching for him, it is unlikely they'd be helped by redirecting them to the CDA). But I guess we all have better things to do so I will pipe down. --SandyDancer 18:16, 28 December 2006 (UTC)
