[edit] Worst Coach Ever

I have found at least three articles on the internet where former players were interviewed and said that Greg Van Zant is the worst coach ever. I'm not able to find all those at this moment. If I find those, do you think that it should be included as part of the article? I mean, it seams like a pretty agreed upon fact. /ClintonKu 22:00, 15 January 2007 (UTC)

I absolutely disagree. This seems to be based on truth. It can be stated that Cal Ripken was a great baseball player (with sources to verify), so it should also be allowed to say that Greg Van Zant is a terrible coach, as long as sufficient sources are referenced. /ClintonKu 00:56, 16 February 2007 (UTC)

I don't think we should make either statement. We can add quotes from people, provided those people are important and let the reader decide. But we need to be careful to be NPOV ourselves and we need to be careful about providing a balanced selection of quotes. Even then there is a danger of being biased. Not sure, but I have a pretty good guess (the website states that it is a former player, and I can imagine which player wrote it). /ClintonKu 11:20, 16 February 2007 (UTC)

Please, when editing the biography of a living person be very careful of sources. They need to be top notch. A source that states:

"This column was initially sent to The Dominion Post for publication, but they refused to print it."
