I saw an episode of "The Greg Behnendt Show", and I think that the show tried to mix helpful advice with the humor that Greg Behnendt naturally possesses. Which is what I was hoping for when I started watching. I don't think it'll be too helpful, but there isn't a lot of information on the show, so I though I'd share my two cents. 65.96.103.25 01:32, 20 September 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Qualifications

Despite thinking himself expert enough to give advice, and being given a show on which to do just that, Greg Behrendt has no formal qualifications or training on either giving advise or on the subjects on which he dispenses advise. —The preceding unsigned comment was added by 64.180.14.34 (talk • contribs).

Yeah, apparently many people are under the impression that he is a psychologist getting on the Dr. Phil bandwagon.Isaac Crumm 18:03, 17 January 2007 (UTC)

He has no formal training and his show was just an attempt at being a new Jerry Springer. He has ruined many lives and relationships. Thank goodness it has been cancelled. January 26, 2007. —The preceding unsigned comment was added by 206.171.125.210 (talkcontribs).

I don't see how the show is very much "like a new Jerry Springer". From what I have seen, its a much less "fake" and more serious show than that.(Despite his jokes) He even seems to joke quite often about how he was given a show and has no qualifications whatsoever and seems well aware of that. It seems it also likes to make comments about his budget (or lack of one)(Including sending people for a nice dinner at Denny's) and often brings friends and family on as guests (I guess its cheaper?). Despite all this, it seems like a pretty different take on the talkshow and it seems like he genuinely wants to help people while having some harmless fun and despite having no training other than "Writing the book on relationships".
