The Grey-legged Tinamou Crypturellus duidae is a type of Tinamou commonly found in lowland of dry shrubland in subtropical and tropical region up to 500 m altitude. It may also be found in moist forest habitats. This species is native to Macarena mountains and Orinoco-Negro white-sand forest, located at north-east Peru, north-west Brazil, southern Meta in Colombia and from Cano Cuao and Sanariapo to Cerro Duida in southern Venezuela. It has an estimated global extent of occurrence of 59,000 km².

The Grey-legged Tinamou is approximately 30 cm in length. It is dark brown above, finely barred blackish on lower back, rufous below, tinged grey on upper breast, sides of belly banded buff. Head and neck rufous, throat white with legs greyish. The female is darker on lower back, narrowly barred light buff.
