Gregory Ecklund

Gregory Ecklund is the director of animation as THQ's Heavy Iron Studios.

He got his start in animation by screening his Lloyd's Lunchbox series at Spike and Mike's Sick and Twisted Festival of Animation. The short took notice of Jonathan Davis, lead singer of the metal group Korn, and would later be basis of video collaborations for the Korn singles "Right Now" and "Everything I've Known". It is still Ecklund's most recognized work to date.

He studied tradtional animation at the California Institute of the Arts. He then learned computer graphics at Industrial Light & Magic. Thereafter, he went to Digital Domain to be trained for commercials and amusements park rides.
