[edit] General Hospital

On General Hospital, he has been the first actor to portray Lucky as a full-fledged adult. In fact, the character was aged to allow an older Vaughan to take on a part made for a much younger actor. Whereas Jonathan Jackson was an introspective, soulful teen and Jacob Young a more vapid blond hunk, Greg is a well-built leading man. His handsome face is accented with a scar on the left side of his chin, giving him a slight toughness to his look. He is usually dressed casually in his role of undercover cop, but viewers were dazzled when he wore full-dress white tie and tails for the wedding scene last year. What was to have been a casual wedding for him and Elizabeth (Rebecca Herbst) turned out to be a grand formal affair -- as a surprise -- at the Cassadine mansion. He looked very dapper and, in rare bare-chested scenes, is very strong and athletic, with a large tattoo over the back of his shoulders.

Vaughan married Dutch actress Touriya Haoud on June 4, 2006. On December 16th, 2006, Greg and his wife Touriya announced that they are excepting their first child. She is 5 months along and in due in late spring 2007.

On June 7, 2006, Greg won as the new spokesperson for I Can't Believe It's Not Butter® in a ceremony in NY; the contest was created to replace Fabio.
