Gregory John Mail (born April 29, 1978, Penrith, New South Wales) is a batsmen for the New South Wales Blues. He is a tall opening batsman with a solid technique and is considered one of the hardest batsman to dismiss in Australian domestic cricket. Despite losing his place in the New South Wales team in 2006/7, he bounced back with a run of high scores in grade cricket. Mail has a noted capacity for endurance, once being described by Blues physio Patrick Farhart as "an aerobic trojan". Whilst most players only dream of being remembered for a great innings or spell of bowling, Greg has already ensured that generations of future players will marvel over his technique. His ability to throw himself completely at a given task and bury his head in his work until he has completed it led to much success at all levels of the game. Greg is a popular cricketer amongst his peers, entertaining many a friend with his asian-influenced cooking and tales from maths classes of the day.
