Greg Hartmann is the Clerk of Courts in Hamilton County, Ohio, and was the Republican nominee for Ohio Secretary of State. He lost the race to Democrat Jennifer Brunner on November 7, 2006.

Previously an assistant county prosecutor, Hartmann has a large role in Republican party in Hamilton, having been selected to serve as the Bush-Cheney county campaign chair. He also serves on the Board of Trustees of Main Street Ventures, a Cincinnati, non-profit business incubator promoting rapid growth enterprises, and he devotes time to the Catholic Inner City Schools Initiative, the Cincinnati Community Action Now Commission, and the Ohio Reads Program.

Greg and his wife, Tracy, live in Cincinnati and have five children.
