Greenlawns High School is a private school in the posh southern suburb of Breach Candy, Mumbai(Bombay), India. It was founded in 1959 by an American citizen Mrs. J. Frazer-Thompson and an Indian businessman, C. U. Shah. Mrs. Frazer-Thompson was also its first principal up to her retirement in 1971. She then handed over the principalship to Ms. Sara D'Mello who up till her own retirement in the mid-eighties, very effectively governed the school with an iron hand and turned Greenlawns into one of the finest I.C.S.E. schools in the city.

The school is known for its association with Shah, who remained a trustee on the school's board until his death in 2000 at the age of 82. Prior to working with Greenlawns, Shah received a degree in law and worked in several areas of business, including exports and investments.
