There are current around 720 students enrolled in Greenacre Public School. A specific number is difficult to obtain as a result of extra students being accepted as the years progress. The student population is highly multicultural, with 95 per cent of the students coming from non-English speaking backgrounds. Of these, the most predominant are of Arabic language groups followed by Chinese, South-Eastern and Caucasian ethnicities.
