Green Street, London

Green Street is a road in the London Borough of Newham, England.

It is the location of the Boleyn Ground, home to West Ham United and is the title of a 2005 film about football hooliganism, Green Street. The road is also a regional centre for retail in food, jewellery, fabrics and the location of Queens Market.

Green Street was the historical boundary between the County Borough of West Ham and the County Borough of East Ham.

The upper portion approaching Forest Gate was at one time called Gypsy Lane.
