The Green Institute is a national-level policy institute that is based on the values of the global Green political movement in the United States.

Its Executive Director is Dean Myerson and its Board of Directors are David Cobb, Thomas Linzey, Anita Rios, Audrey Thayer, and Gloria Mattera. It has two Senior Fellows: Roger Morris and Charlene Spretnak. Steven Schmidt oversees internet operations and serves as assistant director.
