[edit] Synopsis

John starts acting seemingly paranoid—he accuses Crais of stealing Winona, of making Talyn lower his shower temperature to near freezing, and of sending DRDs to work near Crichton while he's trying to sleep to annoy him. Suddenly, Talyn is swallowed by a budong, while Rygel and Stark are outside in a transport pod. Crais, Crichton, and Aeryn struggle to free themselves from the budong, first thinking they can just make their way through the digestive system, but Stark tells them that they'll burn up in the fiery furnace that is the budong's stomach. While dealing with that crisis, they have several interpersonal crises to cope with. John gets a message from Talyn that Crais wants to speak to him in his quarters. Upon arrival, he finds no Crais but he does find a data chip that he can't resist playing. On it, he finds images of Crais and Aeryn having sex. Further fueling Crichton's jealousy is him finding Crais and Aeryn in private conference, with Crais having begun to take off his shirt. Aeryn tells John that she has agreed to get a "hand of friendship" neural implant from Talyn to help Crais with the increasingly unruly and violent Talyn; John is furious at Aeryn and says this is what she's always wanted--a happy Peacekeeper family. At Aeryn's request, John goes to her "hand of friendship" ceremony, but the door is locked and he is, literally and figuratively, locked out and away from Aeryn.

To get out of the budong, they hit upon the idea of making it vomit via setting several explosions, and then riding out of its mouth with the rest of the vomit. John goes EVA to set the explosions, but when he tries to get back in, Talyn won't open the door, and in fact lies to Aeryn to make her not see Crichton is outside, as the explosion is about the go off. Aeryn finally pulls out the neural implant and Talyn then opens the door, saving John.

Crais finds the data chip and gives it to Aeryn, explaining that Talyn created the images himself to make John jealous, and Talyn also stole Winona and was responsible for the DRDs and systems harrassing John. Talyn doesn't trust John because he's not a PK, and he considers Aeryn and Crais to be his parents, in a sense, and sensed that John came between them, so he wanted John gone. Aeryn goes to talk to John, wondering why he never even mentioned he'd seen the video. Eventually John shows Aeryn the star charts he keeps and explains that he always names the central star, around which all others revolve, "Aeryn". The episode ends as they kiss.
