Green Corps

Green Corps is a non-profit organization which focuses on furthering the environmental movement.
Green Corps is the Field School for Environmental Organizing. Green Corps runs a one-year, full-time, paid Environmental Leadership Training Program that gives instruction and experience to recent college graduates interested in launching an organizing and advocacy career. The program includes intensive classroom training, hands-on field experience running urgent environmental and public health campaigns, and career placement in permanent leadership positions with leading environmental groups.
Since 1992, over 200 young people have graduated from Green Corps, and many hold impressive positions in the environmental movement.

Two former employees in 2003 reported dissatisfaction with their experience with Green Corps, disagreeing with Green Corps' race analysis and alleging firings for union activities.
