Green Anarchy

Green Anarchy is a magazine published twice a year out of Eugene, Oregon by a collective. The magazine's focus is on primitivism, post-left anarchy, radical environmentalism, anarchist resistance, indigenous resistance, earth and animal liberation, anti-capitalism and supporting political prisoners. It has a circulation of 8,000.[1]

The subtitle of the magazine is "The Anti-Civilization Journal of Theory and Action". John Zerzan is one of the editors.

According to their web site,[2] Green Anarchy was established in the summer of 2000 by one of the founders of Green Anarchist, "a similar, yet more rudimentary, publication from the United Kingdom" and "began as a basic introduction to eco-anarchist and radical environmental ideas, but after a year of limited success, members of the current collective took on the project with an enthusiastic trajectory."

Saxon Wood, one of the GANDALF trial defendants, is rumored to the founder of the "Green Anarchy", while the first issue published by the new collective was #5.
