Greatest Hits, Vol. 1 is the 2006 greatest hits album from Phil Vassar. The album consists of songs from Vassar's three records and songs Vassar wrote, but cut by other artists such as: Tim McGraw (My Next Thirty Years & For A Little While), Jo Dee Messina (Bye Bye & I'm Alright), And Collin Raye (Little Red Rodeo). The album also has previously unreleased tracks (Last Day Of My Life, Twenty One, & The Woman In My Life).
Every track on Greatest Hits, Vol. 1 except I'll Take That As A Yes (The Hot Tub Song) was either written or co-written by Vassar. The Woman In My Life was written with Vassar's Wife Julie Wood-Vassar.
