Greater Indonesia
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Greater Indonesia or in the Malay language, Indonesia Raya or Melayu Raya (not to be confused with Indonesia Raya, the national anthem of Indonesia) is a political concept espoused by some advocates of the Ketuanan Melayu ideology of Malay racial superiority. The concept calls for the establishment of a common state between Malaysia and Indonesia under a system of Malay political domination. The idea for Greater Indonesia started from Sultan Idris Training College for Malay Teachers by Abdul Hadi Hassan, who was a History lecturer there.
