Greater Garden City

Greater Garden City is a term which is used to describe the village of Garden City and the surrounding areas with derivatives of that name, such at the hamlet of Garden City South and the Census Designated Places (CDP): East Garden City and Garden City Park. Also included in this terminology is the village of Stewart Manor, which is just to the West of Garden City Village proper. The two Eastern-most streets in Stewart Manor are within the Garden City School District. The final location which is sometimes included in this area is Cathedral Gardens, the North-Western neighborhood in the village of Hempstead. This can be accredited to the area having similar socio-economic backgrounds as Garden City.
