Great Yarmouth Town F.C.

Great Yarmouth Town F.C. are a football club based in Great Yarmouth in Norfolk, England. They were established in 1897 and were the founder members of the Eastern Counties Football League in 1935. They have reached the 2nd round of the FA Cup at least twice in their history. They are currently playing in the Eastern Counties Football League Division One.
Nicknamed "The Bloaters", they currently play at the Wellesley Recreation Ground, which is owned by the local council. They play in an amber & black striped jersey, black shorts and amber stockings. The old grandstand[1] at the Wellesley Recreation Ground (also known as "The Well") is the oldest football stand in the United Kingdom, having been opened on 11 June 1892. [1]
In 2006 Great Yarmouth Town's youth team reached the 2nd round of the FA Youth Cup.

Great Yarmouth towns youth team recently made history by reaching the 2nd round of the FA youth cup with Captain Robbie Oldham inspiring his team on with terrific plays. This was an excellent feat for the under 18s who have never been past the qualifying stage before but went out to league side Chesterfield at home 5-2.
