Great Sutton

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Great Sutton is a village and suburb of Ellesmere Port on the Wirral Peninsula in England. Along with Little Sutton, it was once a separate village which was incorporated into the town as it expanded outwards.

Its proximity to the town centre and the slightly more affluent housing conditions mean that the town is commonly referred to by people living in the poorer areas of the town such as Wolverham as the posh end.

Pop star Lee Latchford Evans comes from a council estate in Great Sutton and attended the nearby Sutton High School. He gained notoriety while in the pop group Steps.
