Great Scott (club)

Great Scott is a live music venue in Allston, Massachusetts USA. It is located at 1222 Commonwealth Avenue and Harvard Avenue. The venue is currently home to a wide range of live acts with a focus on live indie/rock and DJ based dance nights. The venue holds 240 patrons and hosts events with either an 18+ (Sunday through Thursday) or 21+ (Friday and Saturday) age limit. Landmark residencies include The Pill (Fridays) a legendary long-running dance night for Anglophiles and The Plan (Saturdays) an indie rock showcase. The club has been awarded "Best Club For Rock", "Best Bar" and "Best Dance Night" in the Boston Phoenix's "Best Of Boston 2006" Readers Poll.

The Fenway Recordings Sessions which take place at Great Scott have brought the likes of Dirty Pretty Things, Diplo, Camera Obscura, Hot Chip, Editors, Magic Numbers, The Subways, Hard-Fi, The Cribs, The Boy Least Likely To, Bon Savants, Annie, Nine Black Alps, Bonde Do Role, CSS, Scissors For Lefty, Protokoll, Film School, Dabrye, Jamie Liddel, Percee P., Kelley Stoltz, Willy Mason, Unbusted, Jake Brennan and the Confidence Men, Frank Smith, Elvis Perkins, Big Digits, Blanks.
