Great Hearts Academies
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Great Hearts Academies is a non-profit charter school management organization which operates charter school "preparatory academies" (grades 7 to 12) in the Phoenix, Arizona metropolitan area. Tempe Preparatory Academy is the founding sister school to the Great Hearts network of schools.
The member schools -- Veritas Preparatory Academy and Chandler Preparatory Academy -- are substantially outperforming other public schools, according to Great Hearts Academies, with a model of schools that are smaller, more efficient, and set higher expectations for all students through a core, liberal arts curriculum.
Mesa Preparatory Academy will open for the 2007-8 academic year in the vicinity of University and Power Roads.
