Great Grandson of Morris On
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Great Grandson of Morris On is a thematic album produced by Ashley Hutchings.
Compared to the three previous volumes in this series of Morris dance tunes, there are more amateur musicians on this album, and unfortunately it shows. There are two very clear "bum notes" in the tunes. Shortly after this album was recorded Spiers and Boden experienced a blaze of publicity. Their contribution to this album (track 3) reappeared on the compilation album "The Magic of Morris". Recorded 2004. Released on CD in 2004. Running time 55 minutes 12 seconds.
