Great Britain national basketball team

The Great Britain national basketball team, or Team GB for short, represents the United Kingdom in international basketball competitions.

Setup by the national basketball organisations of England, Scotland, Wales and on December 1, 2005, the goal is to assemble a combined national team with the ambition of winning a medal at the 2012 Olympic Games in London [1]. The teams coach is Chris Finch, and the intiative has already received backing from British NBA star Luol Deng [2].
