Great Baddow High School

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Great Baddow High School is a secondary school in Chelmsford, Essex, England. The ages of pupils range from 11 - 16 years old and students in sixth form ages from 16 onwards. In September 2002 the school was named a "Sports College" where children benefit from the wide range of sports. Thus the school has just recently paid out a lot of money on a new pe department, which was needed beacuse the old one was run down and the new one makes sports collage stick in your head. The basketball team in year 11 are national champions but people are still very confused on how they managed to win it without the pure talent of joe bellman. who happens to be the tallest person in the school standing at 6 foot 5 inches. he has been compared to the likes of world champion sumo wrestlers due to his huge flab and also Homer Simpson for his pure donut dunking talent.

In September 2006, a new menu was introduced to the school including a new salad bar; this menu is to comply with the Healthy Schools regulation and it is thought to be the best food for the pupils to eat. As a result of this, chips are now only served a maximum 2 times a week.

A World Food Day is also on offer on Friday which will include food from a specific part of the world, and a roast dinner on Thursday.

A Breakfast Club is open 7:30 to 8:30 for students, which offers a range of breakfast type foor such as toast and bacon. This was specifically set up for those who ake part in early-morning sporting activities.
