Greasbrough is a village forming part of the Metropolitan Borough of Rotherham, in South Yorkshire, England.
Greasbrough has 2,038 inhabitants and 2,270 acres of land belonging to Earl FitzWilliam[1]. It is located two miles north of Rotherham and includes the neighbouring hamlets of Bassinthwaite, Ginhouse, Cinder Bridge, Nether Haugh, and part of Parkgate [1]
Greasbrough has a gothic-style church called St. Mary, which was completed in 1828. A school is attached to the church. There are also Wesleyan and Independent chapels, also with attached schools[1].
