Wikipedia:Graphic Lab

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Welcome to the Wikipedia Graphics Lab!

The Graphics Lab Project improves Wikipedia's illustrations. The Project relies on members of the community to request assistance and to help by creating and improving images. If you wish to request a picture to be taken, please see Wikipedia:Requested pictures.

Though the French version, upon which this project is based, is quite active, the Graphics Lab is just getting off the ground and needs users experienced in image manipulation and creation. Please volunteer!

To request creation or improvement of an image, please see Wikipedia:Graphic Lab/Images to improve.

The Graphics Lab helps improve all graphical content used by Wikimedia projects stored on the Wikimedia Commons.

The work to improve the quality and clarity of images that are proposed to them by the community. This work most often involves extracting key elements from photos, removing distracting elements, and improving the general appearance of images. Creation of drawings, diagrams and maps is also within the scope of this project if the requests are clear and the work is feasible (less than one hour).
