There is no mention of the term Gray Tuesday in either of the above. I can find no reference to it anywhere. If it was notable, I'd think I'd be able to find it somewhere. -- Mufka (user) (talk) (contribs) 23:47, 1 March 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Disputed
Since it didn't qualify for speedy deletion, I put the disputed tag on this article because from what I can see it's not a valid term. That's not to say that it absolutely isn't, but I did some looking and cannot find any reference to it. I figured tagging it would get some additional attention. -- Mufka (user) (talk) (contribs) 00:35, 2 March 2007 (UTC)
I find no reference to 'Gray Tuesday' anywhere but this was a significant market correction. If you are looking for a name, perhaps simply February 27, 2007 Market Correction. 2 March 2007 —The preceding unsigned comment was added by 220.238.80.46 (talk • contribs).
- I found a minimal number of Ghits (certainly not sourced or appropriate for an article, but something) by searching under "grey Tuesday" instead of "gray" ("grey" being the British or non-American spelling). Lots of noise hits (other meanings for the phrase), but a couple of real ones. I agree that this article can't survive if a good source isn't found soon, though. Newyorkbrad 02:07, 2 March 2007 (UTC)
The creator of the article (it appears to be the creator, though not logged in) left a message on my talk page stating that he more or less made up the "Gray Tuesday" name. At least that's how I read it. See it here -- Mufka (user) (talk) (contribs) 12:10, 2 March 2007 (UTC)
