[edit] Ghost Cars

Edited the Ghost Cars section to cleanup some improper spelling, capitalization, and grammar. Feel free to edit and add to it as you see fit. T1g4h 21:01, 23 June 2006 (UTC)

[edit] UFOs

Moved some info around from other sections and added it to the UFO section. T1g4h 21:46, 23 June 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Area 69

Pulled most of the info about Area 69 that was lumped in with the "Mysterious Map" section and made it into a new section, Area 69. T1g4h 21:46, 23 June 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Mysterious Map

Moved some info, fixed some grammar. T1g4h 21:46, 23 June 2006 (UTC)

I don't know who put that the Mysterious Map dots are Ghost Car locations, but considering one spot is in the middle of the desert where Area 69 is, I'm fairly certain that's false. T1g4h 19:13, 17 July 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Bodies in the desert

Made a whole new section for this as it, too, was lumped in with Mysterious Map. This can be moved to the larger "Easter Eggs" section if needed. T1g4h 21:46, 23 June 2006 (UTC)

this is the mythbuster here ill do any of these and tell u some more that only i hav seen the is easy to find for everyone.im out contact me at jnmx5@hotmail.com and message it i check daily and soon ill be finished my website for it.

-Note on Blue Hell

Someone should really expand on this... its easily the largest, most explorable glitch in San Andreas. I would create a page for it myself, however I only just learned about it (and have only been able to get to the second level, aka the blue / sky level) so would be unqualified to do it. It would need a better title for the page, then "blue hell", possibly "San Andreas Interior Universe". Well, thats not very good either lol. Anyways, the "Interior Universe" of San Andreas definetly has enough information attached to it to create an entire seperate article, and would allow "Blue Hell" to link somewhere. 130.179.165.144 18:55, 6 November 2006 (UTC) (CanadaAotS)

[edit] Revised: Plane Crashes

I changed the part about the World War II era planes. I've added that they are usually spotted as P-51 Mustang's. Also, I changed the part about the UFO's. I have taken a jet from the airport and followed the lights. As stated, I flew through them and right next to them.65.255.130.104 04:46, 2 December 2006 (UTC)VonR

I have a photo of the P-51 aircraft from in-game.

Whoa, talk about a glitch... your left landing gear is somehow on top of the wing in that shot o_O
And yeah, that's the Rustler, I see them flying all the time. Nothing special. T1g4h 15:38, 12 December 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Bodies in the city, too.

[edit] The Stowaway cutscene

Since someone mentioned wanting verification, here's a screenshot, showing CJ hitting the Admiral and knocking the doors off :) T1g4h 08:44, 12 December 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Citations, Letter and More

  1. Hi people, I've just done some editing, mainly formatting but some info too. The article mentions the letter where Rockstar debunked some myths but I can't seem to find it on the web anywhere. on GTA Forums someone asked for the letter and people told him that it was actually an article in a magazine, and posted scans [1]. If there is a letter I think it should be included.
  2. The wheelchair, I just had a thought that the fact that my textures are showing up as traffic lights and what could be a skip (it says "SKIP HIRE" on the side) could be a fault with my installation. Could somebody check that out and confirm or disprove whether it uses those textures.
  3. In a few places there's paraphrases of rockstar comments, but no sources or anything. If anyone has the sources then I think that should be included.

In Addition to my edits a few days ago, I have altered the article to start with the Easter eggs as this is more verifiable and therefore more encyclopaedic. I've been googling but haven't found the letter mentioned in "Debunking the myths", I think that's a big priority to put into the article, as well as any follow up letters. Also sources are desperately needed for whenever Rockstar is quoted from magazine articles.

Proposed targets:

For the Easter eggs section. This is my opinion, but I think we should only include eggs that are hidden or not immediately obvious, which is basically the definition of an Easter egg anyway. As the list of Easter Eggs/secrets is on a linked website it's not required to have all of them.

I think the main myths are already in the article. What's most important is that the comments from Rockstar have sources. I will continue to hunt for them. As the whole myth section is based on rumours, it's important that the claims are backed up as much as possible. BillPP (Talk) 17:50, 15 December 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Downsize Article

I'm starting to wonder whether the Easter Eggs part of the article is really necessary. There's no precedent for it. I searched Google and found that there's no other easter egg list pages apart from one about Microsoft software. None of the other GTA games (nor any other games at all) have pages for Easter Eggs and in the end I think it qualifies as redundant, non-notable information per WP:NOT#INDISCRIMINATE. The myths though, are noteworthy as it was a relatively unique occurrence.

Based on the current version, it is my opinion that the following could be done to the article:

  1. Remove Section Notable Easter eggs.
  2. Remove Section Blue hell. (possibly merge section with a GTA main page)
  3. Add references wherever Rockstar is cited.
  4. Move to Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas Myths (or something like that).

What are other editor's opinions on this? --BillPP (Talk) 16:04, 4 February 2007 (UTC)
