Talk:Grado, Italy

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

In Roman times the city was known as Gradus. Aquae Gradatae was the name of sea waters surrounding the city. The name comes from Slavic word 'grad', which can mean 'a castle' or 'a city'. Like Belgrade (Beograd) or Graz (Gradec; Styria). 222.108.175.172 07:48, 20 February 2007 (UTC)
